This floaty white dress is scattered with bursts of turquoise, hot pink and lilac, with plenty of clear space between each floral motif so the colour feels fresh rather than crowded. The slightly sheer finish gives the fabric a lovely lightness, while the deep V neckline is framed by generous cascading ruffles that bring most of the detail to the upper half.

The bodice sits softly through the bust before drawing in at the elasticated waist, then falls into a gathered midi-length skirt with plenty of room through the hips. The short sleeves have gentle fullness and finish with elasticated ruffle cuffs, echoing the movement around the neckline.

Try it with turquoise sandals and silver jewellery, or pick up the pink with raspberry heels and a small lilac bag. This shape works well if you like definition at the waist with more room through the hips and thighs. The V neckline opens the line through the chest, while the cascading ruffles bring detail through the upper body and the gathered skirt allows plenty of movement below the waist.
