Aurora Borealis Faux Crystal Cluster Clip-On Earrings

Aurora Borealis Faux Crystal Cluster Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Cluster earrings from the mid-century era are particularly charming especially when they are displaying faceted faux crystal beads wired together in a domed cluster, each bead catching light from a slightly different angle and throwing back a soft iridescent flash of pink, blue and green. The effect is more opal than crystal, more quiet shimmer than full glitter.

Lovely with a simple outfit to bring a little light to your day.

Grey Diagonal Stripe 1980s Shirt Dress

$129.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Charcoal and grey diagonal stripes run the full length of this dress, cut with a soft sheen that plays off the fabric's woven texture. A stand collar closes with a single button at the front, and the sleeves gather into cuffed wrists with a matching button. The waist is elasticated with a fabric tie at each side seam, easing into a full gathered skirt below. The gathered shoulders and elasticated waist are typical of the comfort of 80s fashion - dressing easy through the body rather than fitted.

Wear it with metallic sandals for an evening look. Try flats or boots and a plain cardigan for daytime or workwear. The diagonal stripe print pairs easily with plain black or silver accessories.

Silver Grey Draped Wrap Dress

$149.00 $129.00 Save $20.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

This silver grey dress moves in a fluid stretch knit with a soft sheen along every fold. Gathering at each shoulder lifts the long sleeves into a soft volume before the fabric falls in loose folds to the wrist. The bodice wraps to a deep wrap V neckline, a self-tie belt enhancing at the natural waist. Below, the skirt drapes asymmetrically into a tulip shape and a centre back zip keeps the finish clean, letting the draping carry the silhouette.

The gathered shoulders add soft structure through the upper body, while the wrap front and self-tie waist let you shape the neckline and waistline to suit you. If you enjoy definition at the waist without anything fitted, the tie belt gives you that shape on your own terms. The tulip shape brings movement with every step, equally suited to heels for evening or flat sandals for daytime ease. Wear it layered or alone, the long sleeves and V neckline work well either way.

Michele Valery Silk Dandelion Print Blouse

Michele Valery Silk Dandelion Print Blouse

$89.00 $49.00 Save $40.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

This blouse is a lovely example of silk, with a scattered dandelion style floral woven through in ivory and black against a soft grey ground. The stand collar ties into a soft bow at the front, sitting above a row of buttons that runs the full length of the placket. The shoulders gather next to softly padded shoudler detail into long sleeves, finished with a neat button cuff at the wrist. Made under the Michele Valery label from Paris, this piece has the kind of easy tailoring that glances past the 1970s in to the 80s.

Tuck this into high waisted trousers or a pencil skirt and let the bow sit as the focal point, no extra jewellery needed at the neckline. Add a blazer over the top for the office or wear it with wise flowing cream silk trousers for an elegant easy chic in the evening.

Young Sophisticates Watercolour Rose Cape Sleeve Dress

Young Sophisticates Watercolour Rose Cape Sleeve Dress

$129.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

This dress carries one of those soft watercolour florals that feels almost painted rather than printed, roses in blush pink and lilac drifting across a grey ground. The neckline gathers into a self-fabric tie at the front, the cape sleeves flutter loose from the shoulder, and the waist is elasticated at the back with a long matching sash that wraps and ties for shaping. Below the waist the skirt falls into a tiered, ruffled hem that gives movement as you walk. Made in New Zealand under the Young Sophisticates label by T.G. Southwell and Co, a well known Auckland fashion house through the mid to late twentieth century, this dress carries a romantic flowing silhouette.

Let the sash do the shaping and keep the rest simple, drop earrings or nothing at all, the print carries plenty on its own. If you like softness rather than structure through the waist, the wrap tie here lets you adjust the fit to what feels right on the day. Sandals or low heels both work, depending on whether you're headed somewhere relaxed or a little dressier.

Vintage Pearlised Floral Clip-On Earrings

Vintage Pearlised Floral Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

A little burst of vintage glamour, these clip-ons are made up of clustered pearlised resin beads arranged in a full rounded flower shape. A larger centre bead anchors the design, with smaller textured beads packed closely around it to create plenty of dimension without needing any extra sparkle. The soft silver-white finish catches the light beautifully and gives them a slightly frosted, almost moonlit look.

They are brilliant with a crisp black shirt, a cobalt knit or a rich plum dress, and just as good worn with denim and a simple white tee when you want one strong vintage detail near your face. The compact floral shape keeps them wearable while still giving you that wonderful bit of style.

ABOUT APRICOT GIFT BOUTIQUE
This exclusive range of earrings originates from Apricot Gift Boutique, a store established circa 1984 in the heart of the beachside suburb of Mairangi Bay, New Zealand. The store was owned and operated by Colombian artist Helizabeth Borrero de King, offering a snapshot of her love of fashion, style, and all that glitters. A gift and jewellery store with a little taste of everything, it catered to a diverse group of locals, fashionistas, and supported artisans. The store was known for embracing community and culture, as well as bringing a unique overseas perspective to the area. Brought to you in this collection are some of the surviving pieces from the store's closure in the early 1990s. Each piece is unique and selected to bring joy to the wearer.

Vintage 1960s Deep Violet Square Scarf

$29.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

There's a particular shade of purple that belonged entirely to the sixties, somewhere between amethyst and midnight, worn by women who understood that colour could be its own kind of confidence. This little square carries that exact hue, saturated and unwavering, the sort of purple that commands a room. Fold it, knot it, let it catch the light on a wrist or a handbag handle, and it still reads as deliberate, entirely itself.

Wear it knotted at the neck against a cream silk blouse for a hit of colour against a neutral base, or loop it through the handle of a structured leather bag for a flash of violet that changes an entire outfit. It plays beautifully with warm browns and soft blush pinks, or go bold and pair it with mustard for a combination that feels distinctly mid-century. A scarf this size is made for improvisation, headscarf, hair tie, pocket square substitute, the possibilities are part of the joy of wearing true vintage.

Navy Deco Dot Grid Silk Square Scarf

$59.00 $49.00 Save $10.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Neat rings of ivory and pale gold form a precise geometric grid across a pale purple silk background, framed by two solid bands that give the whole design a wonderfully architectural rhythm. There's a lovely restraint to this print, understated where so many vintage pieces reach for the bold, letting the repetition and colour depth shine. The silk carries a smooth, fine hand throughout.

Knot it neatly at the neck for a polished finish against a crisp white shirt, or fold into a slim band and thread through belt loops for a subtle graphic touch. The pale purple and ivory palette works effortlessly with tailoring, denim or monochrome dressing, and it makes a refined addition tied to the handle of a structured bag.

Abstract Stained Glass Floral Rectangle Scarf

Abstract Stained Glass Floral Rectangle Scarf

$39.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Cool blues, violet and dusty rose fracture across this scarf in a stained glass style abstraction, a single oversized bloom rendered in bold geometric planes rather than realistic petals. A soft rose pink border runs the length of the piece, framing the composition with a gentle warmth. Lightweight and as stunning as a painting, it reads more like art in its simplicity.

Knot it loosely at the neck to let the colour planes take centre stage against a plain white or navy top, or fold narrow and wear as a striking hair tie. The cool blues and rose tones work beautifully with denim, grey or soft pastels, and it makes an elegant wrist wrap for an unexpected finishing touch.

1980s Ikat Style Stripe Rectangle Scarf

$39.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Bold vertical bands of teal, magenta and burnt orange march down this scarf, each stripe carrying its own micro pattern of dots, diamonds and beading. A dramatic ikat panel breaks through the geometry with a smoky, watercolour blur of plum and gold, while the reverse reveals a moody floral in black and magenta. Vibrant, versatile and full of personality.

Wear it long and loose down the front of a simple dress for instant drama, or tie at the wrist for a flash of pattern against a plain sleeve. The colour depth works beautifully with a multitude of colours drawing teh eye to whatever tone that makes you happy. It also makes a striking hair wrap twisted through a low ponytail.

Holy Beets Beetroot Print Rectangle Scarf

Holy Beets Beetroot Print Rectangle Scarf

$39.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

A striking find, this scarf scatters bold beetroot silhouettes in deep magenta across a dark inky back ground, each root vegetable topped with a flash of mustard leaf. Playful and graphic, it reads like a mid-century kitchen mural turned into wearable art. Lightweight and easy to knot, with a crisp hand that holds its shape.

Tie it as a neat neckerchief for a pop of colour against denim or knits, or use it to band a straw hat for an unexpected garden party twist. The rich magenta pairs beautifully with black, olive or camel, and it works equally well knotted onto a handbag handle for a playful finishing touch. The perfect gift for a gardener!

Fine Wool Blend Floral Border Scarf

$39.00 $29.00 Save $10.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

A deep aubergine ground blooms with teal, coral and gold florals, scattered butterflies drifting across one panel before gathering into a dense botanical border. The fine wool blend offers a soft, substantial hand, warmer than silk yet still fluid enough to drape with ease. Delicate striped edging frames the design with old world neatness.

Knot it at the throat for instant colour against a plain coat, or fold into a wide band and wear as a headscarf for a bohemian edge. Its jewel tones sit beautifully against denim, black wool or a simple polo neck, and it doubles easily as a slim waist tie over knitwear.

Violet Bead Knot Vintage Earrings

$39.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

A tightly woven knot of glossy dark violet beads with deep black shadowing, finished with a sweep of clear faceted beads and a creamy seed-pearl tone centre bead like a tiny signet. Textural, sculptural, and quietly clever, they have that dressed-up finish that makes a simple black knit feel finished.

Wear them with a sharp collar for contrast, or lean into the mood with a bold purple blazer, dark denim, or a rich velvet. They sit close to the ear and catch light in small, flattering flashes, which is exactly what you want near the face.

Choosing authentic vintage accessories keeps beautiful workmanship in circulation and sidesteps the churn of disposable new production. The easiest kind of wardrobe upgrade is the one that already exists.

An oval window of deep plum sits at the centre of these, held fast by a fine ring of bead molding in a silver-tone detailing that gives it real presence without any weight. The outer edge is finished in a warmer silver tone, a small contrast that lifts the whole piece and stops it reading as flat or one note. There is a quiet formality to the shape, something that calls back to an older style of dressing table jewellery. Neat, well made and easy to wear from morning through to evening.

1980s Pearl Trio Amethyst Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Three ribbed gold-tone fans curl outward from a central pearl in this pretty little trefoil shape, each fan tipped with a small round amethyst stone that peeks out at the join. The fluted texture on the gold catches light beautifully as it curves, giving real shape and dimension to what could otherwise be a flat little motif. That single lustrous pearl sitting centre stage adds a soft, classic touch against all that warm gold and violet sparkle, striking a nice balance between polished and pretty. A versatile everyday earring that would sit just as well with a linen shirt as it would with your going-out dress.

A high domed centre in a shifting iridescent purple is the real drawcard here, glossy and rounded enough that it catches a different colour glint depending on which way you turn your head, from deep violet through to a warmer amber edge. It sits inside a neat gold-tone laurel wreath border, the leaf detailing giving it a slightly classical, almost coin-like finish that grounds all that shimmer in something more structured. 1980s Hammered Disc Vitrail Drop Earrings

$49.00

Two discs, two different textures, that is the story of this pair. A small swirl-detailed top disc connects via a simple link to a larger hammered disc below, its surface catching light in a satisfying uneven way, finished with delicate scrollwork at the edges. Right at the centre sits a faceted vitrail effect faux stone, shifting between amethyst, ruby and sapphire depending on the angle, a real point of drama against all that textured, worn looking metal surrounding it. There is a lovely handcrafted, almost artisan quality to the finish here, the kind of pair that looks like it has already lived a life before it gets to yours.

1980s Purple Gold Fleck Cabochon Clip-On Earrings

1980s Purple Gold Fleck Cabochon Clip-On Earrings

$29.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

There is something a bit celestial about this pair, a deep purple dome scattered with irregular flecks of gold, like a night sky caught mid shimmer, all held within a simple polished gold-tone rim. The finish has real depth to it, more mottled and organic than a flat block of colour, so the eye keeps finding new detail depending on the light. Sitting neat and close to the ear, these are wonderfully easy to wear, the sort of everyday clip on you can put on without thinking and know they will work with almost anything in your wardrobe.

1980s Purple Cabochon Baroque Clip-On Earrings

1980s Purple Cabochon Baroque Clip-On Earrings

$39.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

A generous domed purple cabochon takes up most of the face here, glassy and glowing, held within a wide gold-tone border that has been worked into scrolling waves and curls, more baroque picture frame than simple bezel. The beaded outer edge finishes things off nicely, giving the whole earring a formal, old-world quality that belies just how light it actually feels on. There is something quite regal about the pairing of that saturated purple against warm aged gold, a colour combination that reads equally well against black, cream or a rich jewel-toned wardrobe.

1980s Purple and Gold Medallion Clip-On Earrings

1980s Purple and Gold Medallion Clip-On Earrings

$39.00

A real coin-like quality to these with a raised domed centre in aged gold sitting inside a deep purple field, with a fine engraved pattern running round the inner ring that hints at something almost heraldic. A neat border of beaded gold detailing frames the whole piece, giving it structure and a slightly formal, decorative edge that feels borrowed from an old cabinet fitting or button box rather than a jewellery counter. Solid and well proportioned without being heavy on the ear, this is a pair for anyone who likes a bit of history and craftsmanship in their accessories.

1980s Lilac Enamel Swirl Clip-On Earrings

1980s Lilac Enamel Swirl Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

There is a real weight and quality to these that you feel the moment you pick them up, a substantial domed brass form finished in glossy lilac enamel and warm textured gold, the two colours swirling into each other like a yin and yang rather than sitting in neat separate blocks. The gold sections carry a fine engraved pattern underneath their shine, giving the surface real depth up close, while the lilac panels stay smooth and high gloss for contrast. Rounded and comfortable against the ear, this is a pair built for everyday elegance, the kind of quietly luxe piece that looks equally at home with a blazer or a simple knit.

1980s Lavender Dome Stud Earrings

$29.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Sometimes the simplest pieces earn their place in the collection through colour alone, and this pair is a good example. A neat glossy dome in a clear, true lavender, no pattern, no extra detail, just a clean round shape with a lovely high shine finish. Small in scale and light to wear, they are the sort of earring you reach for on a day when your outfit already has plenty going on and your ears just need a simple pop of colour to finish it off.

1980s Pastel Floral Print Resin Clip-On Earrings

1980s Pastel Floral Print Resin Clip-On Earrings

$29.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Hand illustrated is the word that comes to mind with this pair, a floral print in dusty pink, sage green, lilac and butter yellow, all outlined in a fine dark line that gives the pattern a real graphic, almost fabric-like quality. Set into a simple flat disc, there is nothing fussy about the shape itself, which means the print gets to do all the talking. It is the kind of pattern you would happily find on a silk scarf from the same decade, now living its second life as a proper statement disc for the ear. Easy to wear and full of personality, a lovely option for anyone drawn to colour and pattern over polish and shine.

1980s Purple Glass Gold Poppy Clip-On Earrings

1980s Purple Glass Gold Poppy Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Satisfyingly simple, these are a proper matte gold poppy, five generous petals with soft, folded edges that catch the light without ever tipping into glare. A single round purple faux stone sits nestled at the centre like a drop of colour caught in the middle of the bloom, small in scale but doing all the work against that warm brushed gold finish. There is a real confidence to the plain silhouette here, no extra embellishment needed, just clean botanical form and one perfect point of colour. Easy to dress up or down, this is the sort of earring that goes from desk to dinner without a second thought.

1980s Gold Leaf Diamanté Cluster Clip-On Earrings

1980s Gold Leaf Diamanté Cluster Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

A tangle of gold-tone leaves and ribbon curls forms the base of this pair, textured and dimensional, the kind of detailing you only get from older, more considered casting techniques. Scattered through the foliage sits a confetti of round diamanté in amethyst, emerald, topaz and clear, set close together so the whole cluster reads as one continuous, glittering bloom rather than a collection of separate stones. There is a lot going on here, in the best possible way, layers of texture and colour that reward a second look. A strong choice for anyone who likes their jewellery with a bit of story and a fair bit of sparkle.

1980s Amethyst Cabochon Jewel Tone Clip-On Earrings

1980s Amethyst Cabochon Jewel Tone Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

An oval amethyst coloured cabochon takes centre stage here, deep and glassy, held fast within a textured gold-tone faux metal rope frame that gives the whole earring a sense of old-world craftsmanship. Below, three loose gold loops curl like a signature flourish, each set with a small round crystal in emerald, ruby and amethyst, a mismatched jewel box in miniature. The effect is layered and confident, closer to a piece of estate jewellery than costume, and versatile enough to move from a work day into whatever the evening throws at you.

1980s Baroque Medallion Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

This pair of earrings looks like it has been lifted straight off an old cabinet handle or a Victorian mirror frame. A round medallion face carries an ornate scrollwork border in antiqued gold, framing a darker oval centre stamped with fine filigree detail and a single purple-toned accent at its heart. Lightweight and comfortable to wear despite the busy, decorative surface, they lean into an eclectic, almost curio-shop appeal, ideal for anyone who collects pieces with a bit of story stamped right into accessories.

1980s Amethyst Flower Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Six amethyst coloured petals fan out in a full, generous bloom, each one hand-set in a twisted gold-tone rope border that gives the whole flower a raised, dimensional edge. At the centre sits a single round ruby red diamante, small but mighty, the exact pop of colour that stops the eye before it moves out to the petals. The scale is confident without tipping into costume, a statement floral that was made for an evening at the theatre or a long lunch that turns into cocktails.

1980s Lilac and Gold Textured Stud Earrings

1980s Lilac and Gold Textured Stud Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

There is something almost geological about these domed clip-ons, layers of lilac and antique gold sitting across the surface like weathered stone or old plaster catching afternoon light. Raised beaded rows run in loose, wandering lines across each dome, giving the an almost hand-worked, textural quality that feels more sculpture than jewellery. They sit close to the ear with real presence, the kind of piece that reads as art first and adornment second, perfect for anyone drawn to colour and craftsmanship over polish and shine.

Quietly opulent, these compact clip-on clusters bring together four faceted crystals in a garden-toned palette of peridot green, citrine yellow, blush pink and soft amethyst, anchored below by a ribbed sapphire-blue drop. Faux Pearl and Marbled Plastic Cluster Clip-On Earrings

Faux Pearl and Marbled Plastic Cluster Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

A generous dome of creamy faux pearl sits at the centre of each earring, surrounded by a constellation of smaller ivory beads and marbled aubergine cabochons, all anchored to a warm brass base. The cluster arrangement has a sculpted, almost floral density to it, with each bead catching light differently.

Pair with a deep plum silk blouse or a navy floral print for an effortlessly tonal look. Purple and Gold Cluster Bead Clip-On Earrings - Deadstock

Purple and Gold Cluster Bead Clip-On Earrings - Deadstock

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Densely clustered and joyfully tactile, these clip-on earrings arrange rows of matte violet plastic beads and polished gold-tone brass spheres into a satisfying, almost mosaic-like surface. The contrast between the soft, chalky purple and the mirror-bright gold creates a visual rhythm that catches the eye. Generously scaled yet surprisingly lightweight.

Wear these against a deep forest green or burnt sienna knit to make the violet sing. They lift a cream silk blouse instantly, or add unexpected personality to a floral wrap dress. Try them with camel or chocolate tones for a warm, editorial contrast, or pair with cobalt for a bold, colour-blocked statement.

Dark Purple Cloisonné Floral Hook Drop Earrings

Dark Purple Cloisonné Floral Hook Drop Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Each earring is a tiny garden suspended in enamel. Deep aubergine cloisonné beads are mapped with hand-laid metal filament, enclosing blooms in blush, coral and white against a field of olive and emerald leaves. A faceted amethyst crystal sits above a sparkling rhinestone rondelle, before the bead drops on a clean stainless steel hook. The effect is jewel-box rich, intricate without fuss, and utterly hand-crafted in character.

Wear these where a touch of colour creates a perfect look. They come alive against a floral silk, an inky navy, or a rich forest-green. The aubergine and gold tones are equally at home paired with deep burgundy or warmed against camel and ochre.

These gloves bring instant polish to monochrome tailoring, velvet evening coats, or soft dove grey knits. Style them with pearl jewellery and satin heels for candlelit occasions, or contrast against crisp white shirting and dark denim for a refined modern twist. Their floral detailing pairs especially beautifully with painterly prints and mohair textures.

Vintage Clothing - Vintage Teal Blue Rhinestone Cluster Screw On Earrings - Painted Bird Vintage Boutique & The Aviary - Earrings

Vintage Teal Blue Rhinestone Cluster Screw On Earrings

$39.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

These petite vintage earrings are the definition of small-but-mighty. A fresh teal-blue centre stone sits inside a halo of clear rhinestones, giving you that light-catching sparkle that looks polished in daylight and fun after dark.

The shape is a classic floral cluster with lovely texture in the setting. They are screw-on, which makes them an easy option for non-pierced ears, or for anyone who prefers the comfort of a screw-back adjustable fit.

Styling wise, these are brilliant for lifting colour without taking over. Try them with a cobalt knit and a printed skirt, a citrus blouse with a denim midi, or a lilac slip with a teal bag. They also look gorgeous with patterns that already have a little blue in them, think abstract prints, painterly florals, or a graphic black-and-white check.

Our vintage items are rated as follows:

Excellent: Near or near to new quality, with no noted flaws and may often be presented in original packaging or, with original tags (deadstock) all commensurate with age and love

Vintage Clothing - 1950s Aqua & Berry Beaded Cluster Clip-On Earrings 'VIP' - Painted Bird Vintage Boutique & The Aviary - Earrings

1950s Aqua & Berry Beaded Cluster Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

These authentic vintage clip-on earrings are a delightful study in colour and texture. Likely dating from the 1950s or early 1960s, they feature a lush cluster design reminiscent of a blooming rosette.

The construction is intricate and features concentric circles of faceted beads wired onto a brass backing. The outer ring of aqua blue beads frames a rich inner circle of deep berry and forest green, all centering on a lustrous grey faux pearl. The faceted areas catch the light beautifully to create a subtle sparkle without being overwhelming.

These are substantial enough to make a statement but classic enough for daily wear. The clip-on mechanism makes them accessible for everyone regardless of piercings. The brass backing holds a genuine patina that speaks to their journey through the decades.

Style them with a crisp white shirt to let the colours pop, or pair them with a velvet dress for a rich, textural evening look. They are a sustainable way to add a touch of mid-century glamour to your jewellery box.

Circa: 1940 - 1990
Origin: Private Collection NZ
Condition: Excellent commensurate with age and love
Fixture: Clip On

Vintage Clothing - Vintage Triangular Boho Clip On Earrings in Faux Turquoise, Blue & Purple 'VIP' - Painted Bird Vintage Boutique & The Aviary - Earrings

Vintage Triangular Boho Clip On Earrings in Faux Turquoise, Blue & Purple

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

These wonderfully unusual triangle clip-on earrings feel like a tiny wearable artefact. The silhouette is softly sculptural, with a faux silver base and three faux cabochons that read like semi-precious stones at a glance: a deep cobalt at the top, a rich turquoise colour curve through the centre, and a moody violet at the base. The detailing around the edge gives them a lightly tribal, boho-leaning feel, without tipping into costume.

They are clip-ons, which means instant impact without committing to pierced ears, and they sit beautifully as a statement pair for anyone who likes their accessories to do the talking. Style them with a 1970s painterly print blouse, a bottle-green silk scarf tied at the neck, or a sharp black knit dress that lets the colours take centre stage. For brighter days, they play brilliantly with cobalt, turquoise blue, chartreuse, aubergine, cream, and even tomato red if you want the palette to feel bold and modern. If you are building a wardrobe that nods to boho styling in a polished way, these are the finishing touch that makes everything look considered.

Vintage Clothing - Vintage Green Striped Silk Tie 'VIP' - Painted Bird Vintage Boutique & The Aviary - Tie

Vintage Green Striped Silk Tie

$29.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

There is something deeply satisfying about a tie that understands colour. This one plays in layered greens, from chartreuse through to deep pine and teal, with fine cream stripes and a subtle woven texture that gives it depth up close. It reads polished, but still has personality, which is exactly what you want from a proper vintage accessory.

It is an easy way to pull a look together without overthinking it. Try it with a soft denim chambray shirt, a forest-green knit, an ivory or oat blazer, a caramel wool coat, or even a dusty pink shirt if you like a little contrast.

It also looks brilliant styled as a neck scarf with a moss cardigan or a satin slip dress in copper or espresso tones.

Vintage Green Marbled Fan Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

These vintage clip-on earrings are pure old-school glamour with a wink. A rich marbled green resin panel swirls like polished malachite, set into a warm gold-toned frame with delicate scrollwork that feels almost architectural. They are the kind of earrings that make a simple outfit look considered in seconds. Try them with a crisp white shirt, a black knit, a tailored blazer, or anything in cream, camel, chocolate, or denim. Green jewellery near the cheekbone brings warmth and brightness to the face, and this deeper tone reads confident rather than loud.

Vintage Green Marble Square Clip-On Earrings

$39.00

These vintage clip-on earrings feature glossy square green panels with a marbled, mossy depth, framed in a sleek silver-toned setting. They have that perfect mid-century vibe where geometry meets glamour, like a tiny modernist painting you get to wear on your face. The green has lovely variation through it, so they read rich rather than flat, and the soft rounded corners keep them elegant, not boxy.

Style them with a crisp white shirt and denim for an effortless lift, or pair with tartan, plaids, charcoal, or cream when you want the green to look especially vivid. A richly textured, gold-tone base is finished with earthy green and warm copper enamel panels, crossed at the centre like a tiny piece of wearable architecture. They have that very collectible, design-led feel that instantly makes a simple outfit look intentional.

Because they are clip-ons, they suit pierced and non-pierced ears, and they sit nicely on the lobe without needing any extra styling gymnastics. Think: crisp white shirt, dark denim, a sharp blazer, or a sleek black dress where the jewellery gets to do the talking.

This is exactly the kind of accessory that earns its keep. It adds colour, light and shape without buying a whole new wardrobe, and it carries the quality and character you only get from true vintage. Pair with jewel tones (teal, forest, cobalt, burgundy) or keep it clean with neutrals like cream, navy and black. If you want to echo the gold, choose a simple gold bangle or a fine chain and stop there.

Jewellery is the punctuation of an outfit. These charming authentic vintage earrings feature the distinctive silhouette of the Bird of Paradise flower, captured in brass and highlighted with deep teal green enamel.

Lime Cross Clip-On Earrings

$49.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

A little spark of citrus for your ears. These vintage clip-on earrings feature a glossy, sculptural green centre with a bold gold-tone cross overlay that wraps the shape like a tiny piece of modernist architecture. The finish catches the light beautifully, so they read polished and intentional, even with a simple white tee or a black slip dress.

The clip-on backs are classic spring clips with a solid, structured feel, ideal if you do not have pierced ears or you just like the flexibility. Size wise, they sit around a New Zealand 50c coin scale, so they are statement-y without taking over your whole outfit.

Pair these with black, cream, chocolate, denim, or any green accent already in your wardrobe. They look especially sharp with clean collars, sleek hair, or a bold lip when you want a bit of that vintage energy for a simple outfit.

Vintage Clothing - Diagonal Stripe Pleated Scarf in Autumn Tones - Painted Bird Vintage Boutique & The Aviary - Scarf

Diagonal Stripe Pleated Scarf in Autumn Tones

$42.00

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Colour in motion. This authentic vintage scarf knows how to make an entrance.

Crafted in pleated polyester, the fabric holds its sculptural texture beautifully. Three bold diagonal stripes run the length of the scarf: olive green, deep burgundy, and vibrant coral. The colour combination is pure mid-century confidence, warm and rich without being predictable. The permanent pleating adds dimension and movement, catching light as the fabric shifts.

This is the kind of scarf that transforms an outfit. Drape it loosely around the neck for a pop of colour against neutral coats, tie it at the throat for a more structured 1960s look, or wrap it as a headscarf for weekend elegance. The easy care polyester means it travels well and keeps its shape.

The diagonal stripes create visual interest from every angle, the pleating ensuring the scarf never lies flat or lifeless. Wearable art that requires no effort. Just colour, texture, and a little bit of swagger.
