The steel blue iridescent satin shifts between midnight and cornflower depending on the light, and the construction is everything you would expect from a label that dressed Brisbane's best. A wide V-neckline frames the décolletage front and back, the bodice is tailored precisely to the waist, and the full circle skirt falls with that particular sweep that no modern fabric quite replicates. A statement bow anchors the hem front with a quiet drama that is entirely intentional.
This dress is listed as a Rescue or Wounded bird. It carries a number of small possible moth or cigarette burn holes in the skirt fabric, as shown in the product images. The original cotton thread construction may also benefit from reinforcing in some areas.
