Some dresses are made for a moment. This one was made for a decade, and it has held its nerve ever since. Cut in a rich royal blue ribbed knit-blend, the mock turtleneck sits with just enough height to feel considered without being restrictive, and the ribbed texture runs the full length of the dress, shifting between cobalt and midnight depending on the light. The silhouette is gently A-line, skimming cleanly from the shoulder and releasing into a soft flare toward the knee. A full-length rear zipper from neckline to hem tells you everything about how this was made: with care, from beginning to end.

This is unmistakably from the era of clean lines and the quiet conviction that a well-cut dress in a single strong colour was all a woman needed to walk into any room. It still is.
