Style simplicity to this wool shift dress, cut in a flecked tweed of olive, gold and cream that reads as a single warm tone from a distance and reveals its texture up close. The dress is lined, sleeveless with a round neckline and a fitted bodice through the shoulders, dropping to a belted waist with a rectangular metal buckle, a detail often seen on drop-waist shift dresses through the 1960s. Below the belt, the skirt falls in structured box pleats that add movement without adding bulk. A concealed back zip finishes the dress cleanly, and the fabric itself has a soft, flecked wool hand that holds its shape well.
