Pale lemon with an inviting fine waffle-like texture, this Littlewoods dress has a lovely simplicity to it, broken neatly by the white vertical trim running from the shoulder towards the waist. Three small white buttons sit along the trim, giving the front just enough contrast against the soft yellow.

The round neckline and extended cap sleeves keep the upper shape clean, while the gently gathered waist gives way to an A-line skirt with plenty of room through the hips. At the back, a small keyhole opening fastens with a single button.

Try it with cobalt sandals and a turquoise bracelet, or add cherry red shoes and a small woven bag for a brighter combination. Go neutral and discreet with white espadrilles and our cane bag.

This shape works well if you like a little definition around the waist without a fitted bodice or narrow skirt. The extended shoulder gives a broader line across the upper body, while the A-line skirt provides plenty of room through the hips and thighs.
