This dark charcoal leather shoulder bag has a wonderfully slim envelope shape, finished with a gently pointed flap and a curved brass bar that follows the line of the closure. The leather has softened beautifully with age, giving the surface a natural variation in tone and a low sheen rather than a polished gloss.

A long narrow leather strap allows it to sit comfortably from the shoulder, while the broad rectangular body gives you useful carrying space. Lift the flap and the bag is neatly lined in black, with an internal zipped pocket for the smaller things you would rather not spend five minutes searching for. The magnetic snap keeps the front securely closed.

The charcoal and aged brass combination works with an enormous range of colours. Try it with a rust, denim, red knitwear or emerald tailoring. It would also look particularly good against patterned wool, tweed or a floral where the simple shape gives the print an encore.
