A diamond-form starburst of oxidised silver, this brooch radiates outward in scrolled, openwork petals densely pavéd with glittering marcasite. At its heart, an oval-cut amethyst glows in deep violet, framed by four round amethyst cabochons at each compass point. The contrast of gunmetal-dark silver against jewel-bright purple is striking without excess. Small but architecturally complex.

Pin it to a charcoal wool lapel or the neckline of a cream silk blouse for immediate impact. It lifts navy, forest green, and dusty mauve with equal authority. Try it centred on a black turtleneck, or anchoring a silk scarf draped at the collar. The silver-and-violet palette pairs beautifully with small floral prints or geometric jacquard.
