A neat little vintage fur collar with a lovely polished finish and a beautifully soft appearance. This one has a slimmer, more tailored shape than some of the broader statement collars, with gently rounded shoulders and elongated front panels that sit neatly down the chest. The colouring is especially lovely too, moving through soft taupe, mushroom and warm cocoa tones with subtle darker markings through the fur.

It is an easy piece to picture in a well-edited wardrobe. The shape makes it wonderfully wearable over coats, jackets and dresses, and it brings that unmistakable touch of mid-century dressing. There is a quiet elegance to it, and the smaller scale gives it plenty of styling flexibility.

For styling, try it with a plum wool coat, a knit dress or a fine cinnamon blouse tucked into tailored trousers. It would also sit beautifully over a forest-green cardigan or with a softly printed 70s day dress in apricot, olive or mauve tones.
