A little romance, a little 80s styling and some lovely embroidery! This soft taupe vintage dress has a wonderfully feminine silhouette, beginning with a wide, straight neckline and delicate ties at each shoulder. An embroidered floral and scrollwork band runs across the front and back of the upper bodice, with matching embroidery decorating the open sleeves. The softly gathered sleeve cuffs, relaxed blouson bodice and elasticated waist create a beautiful draped shape. Below the waist, the skirt falls in overlapping, curved chiffon-style layers, with a shorter lining beneath allowing the sheer outer fabric to be appreciated. The combination of flowing fabric, tonal embroidery and those lovely shoulder details makes this an appealing choice for someone who enjoys romantic vintage fashion.

For a fresh, contemporary look, pair this dress with pistachio green sandals and a little antique gold jewellery. Or take inspiration from the delicate embroidery and introduce a cropped jacket in soft cream or white, perhaps with a pair of bronze ballet flats.
