Vintage Pierre Cardin Silk Rectangle Scarf

Diagonal stripes have a way of making a scarf feel like it's already in motion, and this one leans hard into that energy. ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Pierre Cardin trained under Christian Dior before opening his own house in Paris in 1950, quickly becoming known for a bold, geometric approach that favoured sculptural shape over the female form. Through the 1960s and 70s he led the Space Age movement in fashion alongside Courrèges and Paco Rabanne, and expanded relentlessly into furniture, homewares and accessories under his instantly recognisable name. His scarves carry that same appetite for pattern and colour play, cementing him as one of the most collected French design names of the era.
