An uncommonly found luxury offering! This calfskin leather Holland & Holland shirt jacket, made in Great Britain and lined in Bemberg rayon, is exactly the kind of quality and craftmanship they have been know for since 1835. The leather is cool steel grey, fine-grained and smooth, with a weight and drape closer to a beautifully cut shirt than to a conventional jacket.

The shirt collar sits flat and clean at the neckline. Buttons run down the front, the cuffs close with a single button, and a neat pointed tab vent sits at each hip. The back is seamed at centre. There is nothing here that does not belong. Worn over a fine knit or a silk blouse, tucked into tailored trousers or a simple skirt, this jacket goes with almost everything and makes all of it just look that much ... better.

Grey leather has its own vibe. Not like black, which can be such an easy go to. Not brown, which is the warmer tone of a staple black. No, grey sits perfectly somewhere in the elevated city chic and slightly slightly moody colouring space. This double-breasted leather trench, cut to the knee in a cool steel grey, has the broad pointed collar and relaxed A-line ease that place it firmly in the 70s, when leather outerwear was at the height of its relevance and tailors were cutting it like cloth.

The construction is careful throughout. Topstitching runs the full length of the front panels, down the back seams and along the back yoke. The self-tie leather belt draws the waist at the back. Two large dome-style buttons fasten the double-breasted front, with two more below the waist, and each long sleeve finishes at a buttoned cuff with three small buttons. Front pockets sit at the hip. The centre back has a deep vent for ease of movement. Inside, the lining carries the in gold script: Anne Armstrong. This is truly a coat that has been kept, loved and treasured well.

This dark grey leather skirt from Hide, made by Macalisters Apparel in Christchurch, has the clean, elegant lines that makes a good leather skirt so useful. The leather is supple with a soft sheen rather than a glossy finish, and the narrow waistband keeps the line neat before the skirt falls straight through the hip to around knee length.

The tailoring is simple and beautifully balanced, with shaping through the waist and hips, a centre-back zip and a rear walking split giving enough movement without changing the straight silhouette. It is fully lined, and the original care and maker labels are still present, including the Christchurch manufacturing label.

Grey leather gives you plenty of room to play with texture and colour. Try it with an ivory blouse, a chunky knit with red pumps, or a T Shirt and ne of our unique vintage patterned scarves. This shape works particularly well if you like a defined waist with a soft yet straight line from hip to thigh.

Houndstooth never really leaves. It cycles in and out of the fashion conversation but the fabric itself that tight, precise, black and white check stays forever useful decade after decade. This midi skirt, made in New Zealand from a wool and easy care blend, wears the pattern at a classic scale: small enough to read as a refined all-over texture at a distance, clear and graphic up close. The cloth has a lovely weight and substance to it.

The silhouette is a clean pencil line, sitting from a neat waistband through the hip and falling to a midi length with a centre back vent for ease of movement. Slanted front pockets sit at the hip thankfully ... genuinely useable. The rear waist is elasticated for comfort, with a single black button at centre back above the concealed zip. Goes well with a tucked white shirt, a ribbed knit, or a leather jacket for a sharper edge. A low boot or long boot flatters the length.

Fine black and silver stripes run through both pieces, with plain silver lurex used at the high collar, waistband and cuffs. The top sits close through the body, long sleeves softly easing in to cuffs, and a zip running the length of the centre back. Below it the skirt opens into an A-line and falls all the way to the ankle. Worn together the two make one long unbroken column. Milady Styles made this set in New Zealand, and half a century on both pieces are still together.

Two pieces means two ways to wear it. The top goes well with almost any denim pairing or simple skirt when you want a little shine on an ordinary day, and the skirt carries a simple knit just as easily. A low heel or a long boot flatters the skirt length. Or wear the whole thing as it was made and go somewhere where you can make an entrance.

This silver grey dress moves in a fluid stretch knit with a soft sheen along every fold. Gathering at each shoulder lifts the long sleeves into a soft volume before the fabric falls in loose folds to the wrist. The bodice wraps to a deep wrap V neckline, a self-tie belt enhancing at the natural waist. Below, the skirt drapes asymmetrically into a tulip shape and a centre back zip keeps the finish clean, letting the draping carry the silhouette.

The gathered shoulders add soft structure through the upper body, while the wrap front and self-tie waist let you shape the neckline and waistline to suit you. If you enjoy definition at the waist without anything fitted, the tie belt gives you that shape on your own terms. The tulip shape brings movement with every step, equally suited to heels for evening or flat sandals for daytime ease. Wear it layered or alone, the long sleeves and V neckline work well either way.

This designer Doris de Pont jacket is cut from a silk with a metallic sheen, striped in silver, navy and burnt orange. The notched collar folds back in a solid red, the only break from the stripe running through the rest of the jacket. Three self covered buttons close the front, and two rounded pockets sit at the hip, each lined in the same red as the collar. The sleeves finish at three quarter length, and the jacket sits cropped at the waist, giving it a neat, boxy shape.

The cropped length and boxy shape sit just at the waist. The red collar offers a flash of colour, the three quarter sleeve pairs well layered over a long sleeve top, or worn on its own over a simple dress. The pockets are functional as well as decorative.

This dress is a study in soft drape, an easy care jersey that falls in slow folds from a wide cowl neckline into a blouson bodice. The jersey carries enough weight to hold its drape without feeling heavy, moving easily as you walk. The waist gathers into a gathered seam before releasing into a full, softly pleated skirt that falls below the knee. Long sleeves taper to the wrist, and the whole piece pulls on with no visible fastening, keeping the silhouette clean from every angle.

Styled here with the matching snake print belt, to show how well this dress takes definition at the waist. Add your own belt in leather or a soft fabric tie to create a similar line, or leave the waist loose for something more fluid.

This silver blouse catches the light with an allover floral swirl woven through with fine lurex thread, giving it a soft metallic shimmer that photographs beautifully and looks even better in person. The round neckline sits neatly at the collarbone, and the fitted bodice is shaped with princess seams that carry through to a self-fabric tie belt at the waist. Three shell buttons run down the front, and the sleeves are gently puffed at the shoulder before narrowing to the elbow. Below the belt, the blouse flares into a soft peplum hem.

Wear it with a high waisted skirt or wide leg trousers and let the peplum do the sculpting of your figure. Or use the tie around your neck to creare an elongated look. The metallic thread holds its own without any other jewellery, so keep the rest of the outfit simple and let this piece do the talking.

Metallic silver lurex catches the light across this sleeveless top, cut in a boxy, cropped silhouette that sits neatly at the high hip. A dramatic draped collar folds softly at the neckline, and the back closes with a row of buttons that continue the same silver fabric down the spine. Two flap pockets sit at the waist for a tailored finish, and the lining inside carries the original Sterling Toronto label.

If you love a boxy, relaxed fit through the body, this piece will suit you well. Wear it over a straight skirt or tailored trousers for evening, letting the collar and pockets do the talking, or pair it with denim for a more casual ensemble that still catches the light. Simple drop earrings or bold statement jewels will take it easily from day into night.

Soft grey knit meets a fine silver lurex thread through this fitted top, catching the light with every movement. The upper body opens into an airy pointelle knit that settles into a solid rib below the bust, while the ribbed cuffs and waistband hold the shape close. A 'V' neckline sits neatly at the collarbone and short sleeves keep things simple through the arm. The fitted silhouette and pointelle yoke are typical of 1970s knitwear, worn as a neat layering piece year round.

Wear it with high waisted trousers or a straight skirt for an easy daytime look, or slip it under a blazer for something smarter. A pair of statement earrings or simple studs and low heels will take it easily into the evening.

This grey knit skirt and top set has a fine silver metallic thread running through the wool blend, giving it a soft shimmer rather than shine. The top fastens with a row of silver-tone ball buttons under a scooped neckline, with ribbed trim at the neck, sleeve and hem for a neat finish this set sings true of sixties styling. The skirt is a simple straight style in the same soft grey, with a ribbed hem band that matches the top's finish, so the two pieces sit together as a set rather than separate items paired by chance.

Wear the two pieces together for a neat, put together look, or split them up: the top works well under a blazer or cardigan with trousers, and the skirt pairs easily with a plain jumper or blouse on other days. The silver thread catches the light without being fussy, so it moves easily from daytime to evening with only a change of shoes.

Classic is the label stitched into the lining, and it's a fitting name for a piece built around such an enduring shape. The wool is a fine mid-grey with a soft brushed hand, tailored through the bodice with a shawl collar that folds back cleanly at the neckline. Six buttons run down the front, finish with a slim black belt at the waist, and the skirt below falls into fine, even knife pleats from hip to hem. The open split from waist to hem is perfect for pairing with cigarillo trousers or a straight skirt.

The sleeves are set long with a turned-back cuff, and the whole silhouette sings of coat and dress in one, structured through the shoulder and waist before releasing into all that pleating below.

Wear it as is with simple black flats and a leather tote for the office, or add a soft silk scarf and statement jewels to take it into evening. A cream beret and matching gloves lean further into the era if that's the mood.

Silver satin can so easily go full mirrorball, but this Thien Dung ensemble takes the sharper road. The long tunic and trouser pairing follows the Vietnamese áo dài silhouette, with a stand collar, diagonal side fastening, long sleeves, deep side splits and matching satin trousers beneath.

The colour sits somewhere between dove and silver moonlight, which makes it a stunning statement. Style it for event dressing with sculptural earrings, a lacquer-red lip, or a small cobalt clutch if you like a clean colour clash.

A striking piece of authentic vintage clothing edging to jsut before the fast fashion era, with the kind of cultural dress reference and construction detail that makes true vintage curation so rewarding.

This Puritan shirtdress is cut from soft grey easy care fabric with an almost hand drawn look fuchsia ribbon print winding loose across the fabric. The bodice gathers at the shoulders into a blouson shape and cinches at the waist with a matching self tie belt, while the skirt below falls into fine, crisp pleats. A sharp point collar and pearlised buttons run the full length of the placket.

It dates from the era of the fluid silhouette, built to move easily from office to evening without a change of clothes. Belt it at the natural waist and let the pleats carry the movement on their own. Dusty plum tights and smoky heels take it into evening, or a blush pink cardigan and gold hoop earrings soften it for daytime. A dove grey suede bag keeps the palette tonal without pulling focus from the ribbon print.

Silk printed with overscale daisies in deep violet, soft periwinkle, cream and touches of sage green, this dress carries the particular vitality of mid-century textile design. The flowers are not delicate or demure: their petals are rendered with bold, almost graphic brushstroke energy, filling the fabric edge to edge with a print that feels as alive now as it did the day it was made. The construction is classically of its era, a shirt-style bodice with an open notch collar, full-length sleeves with deep turn-back cuffs secured by fabric-covered buttons, and a generous gathered skirt falling to below the knee. The original self-fabric belt, now widened, defines the waist and anchors the whole silhouette.

The gathered skirt creates fullness through the lower body, which means this dress balances beautifully on those who carry more volume through the shoulder and bust, drawing the eye down and outward through the skirt rather than holding it at the top. The belted waist is the pivot: tighten it for a defined hourglass line, or let it sit looser for an easier, more relaxed shape through the middle. Those with a longer torso will appreciate the generous length through the bodice. Wear it as it is, or layer with a simple knit or blazer in cooler months.

Paisley has a history stretching back centuries, from the woven shawls of Kashmir to the Liberty prints of London, and this dress carries that lineage. The cotton is tightly woven and dense with detail: large-scale botanical paisley forms in royal blue, deep purple, forest green and cream sweep across the fabric in the kind of intricate repeat that takes time to fully absorb. Look closer at the close-up shots and the pattern reveals itself in layers, a fine ground of micro-detail beneath the sweeping primary motifs. The bodice is pin-tucked at the front with a button placket opening to a V-neckline, the shoulder seams are cleanly set, and the fitted yoke style drop waist transitions into a pleated midi skirt with soft, fluid movement through the hem.

The pin-tucked front placket draws the eye vertically through the bodice, which is particularly flattering if you want to elongate the upper body or minimise width across the chest and shoulders. The drop waist sits below the natural waist, skimming the torso, and the pleated skirt opens freely from the hip, giving ease and movement without adding visual bulk below. A side zip gives a clean, fitted entry.

The fabric of this skirt is a lovely tone-on-tone floral jacquard woven into soft lavender cotton blend, so the pattern only reveals itself as the light shifts across the surface. Up close it shows clusters of blooms and leaves rendered in the weave itself, no print, no dye, just the textile doing the work. The waistband sits smooth and structured, releasing into deep forward pleats that open out into a full, sweeping maxi skirt with genuine volume and movement. The silhouette has real presence from every angle, with the pleats falling cleanly from hip to hem.

The generous pleat release means this skirt moves well and accommodates a range of proportions through the hip and thigh without pulling or flattening. The structured waistband defines the natural waist clearly, which balances the volume of the skirt below. Those who carry more fullness through the hip will find the skirt flows rather than clings. Pair with a fitted silk or cotton top tucked in to make the most of that waistband, or layer with a relaxed blouse for an easier, more everyday feel.

Somewhere between a goddess gown and a whisper, this Erica-Loren New York nightgown in the softest wash of lavende is the epitome of the seventies. The silhouette is empire in spirit, with a deep V-front, delicate self-tie bow at the centre bust, and double spaghetti straps that lend the shoulders a bare, unencumbered elegance. The fabric, a soft nylon blend with gentle stretch, moves with an instictive fluid ease. Cut with a sweeping A-line skirt and a low V at the back, this is a piece that lives beautifully in motion.

Worn as eveningwear or styled with strappy sandals and gold jewellery, this gown is quiet glamour. The empire waistline, defined by a gathered elastic band, sits high beneath the bust to lengthen the body from waist to floor. The A-line skirt adds generous volume through the hip and thigh, making it particularly flattering for those who like volume below a defined bust. The deep neckline draws the eye upward, and the bare back adds drama. A denim jacket and long slip underneath takes it effortlessly out of the bedroom and into the world.

Paisley at this scale and intensity was a deliberate act of confidence. The print on this Italian-made blouse is a collision of deep violet, burnt amber, golden yellow and black, arranged in swirling medallion forms that draw the eye in every direction at once. The fabric, a cotton and easy care cloth combination, holds the print crisply, the weave firm enough to give the blouse a structured presence without stiffness. That wide, flat collar in solid violet crepe is the masterstroke, a clean, graphic anchor that frames the neckline and draws attention upward. Button placket detail at the centre front adds further visual interest at the bust.

Sleeveless and straight-cut through the body, this blouse suits those who carry proportion evenly through the shoulder and torso. The solid violet collar broadens the shoulder line gently, while the busy print through the body draws the eye across rather than down, creating a balanced, full silhouette. Pair it with wide-leg trousers in deep navy or black, or tuck it into a skirt paired with long boots for an authentic nod to the original era.

Two textures, one extraordinary boot. The dusky mauve faux suede shaft gathers and drapes with an effortless slouch, anchored by deep violet patent leather panels that run vertically from toe to cuff with the precision of a couture seam. The blocked heel is sturdy and confident, the pointed cuff cuts a dramatic silhouette, and the tonal stitching throughout speaks to Italian craftsmanship at its best.

Style them with a fluid floral midi in plum or dusty rose tones, or ground an oversized cream knit with their moody violet patent gleam. They pair beautifully with deep creams or forest greens, and will lift a simple charcoal wool dress into something entirely memorable. Wear them pulled tall for a sleek, editorial finish.

At least 50 years young, this dress in vivid purple florals on a speckled ground of olive, khaki and black is stunning. The Lydia of London label tells you this came out of London at the height of the city's mid-century fashion moment, when British designers were producing work that was genuinely bold and entirely their own. The dress is a fitted shift with a beautiful ruched drape gathered softly across the front neckline and bust, falling into a gentle cowl fold. It is the detail that sets this dress apart from every other shift in the room.

The silhouette is fitted through the waist and hip, hitting at the knee, with a rear zip closure and sleeveless cut. The fabric is a fine cotton blend with a slight lustre that gives the purple florals real depth and the overall print a painterly quality.

Wear it to a wedding with your favourite heels in bronze or silver and a slim silver cuff. Pair it with ankle boots in tan or forest green and a mustard yellow clutch for something that feels current and confident. The purple in this print is bold enough to carry a coral or terracotta shoe beautifully, or go the other direction entirely with a deep teal heel and silver drop earrings for evening. Add a fitted blazer in deep plum or olive and the look shifts from afternoon to dinner. The ruched neckline gives the dress a softness across the bust that balances the fitted body well. It suits a figure that likes a defined waist and a dress with a considered neckline rather than a plain finish.

Run your fingers across this fabric and you understand immediately why wool blend knit was the decade's go-to for a well-dressed winter. The stripe sequence here is extraordinary: dozens of horizontal bands in deep violet, amethyst, magenta, berry, periwinkle, lavender and warm grey shift and repeat across the body in a rhythm, each colour bleeding softly into the next at its edges. The knit itself has real substance, a wool-easy care blend with gentle surface texture and excellent recovery. A fold-over polo neck, long fitted sleeves and a centre back zip complete a silhouette that is unmistakably of its era and completely wearable now.

The body-skimming cut follows the torso, sitting closest through the shoulder and upper chest before relaxing slightly through the hip. Horizontal stripes in a knit like this distribute evenly across the frame rather than cutting across it, so the overall effect is long and unbroken. The matching self-covered buckle belt is included and pulls the waist in beautifully when you want it, or leave it off entirely for a cleaner column line. Pair with boots for a warm winter stylish look.

Pure berry purple from collar to hem, this Bruce for Marchessa jacket is just, 'the business'. The fabric, an exclusive crepe specified on the label, has a fine pebbled texture that shifts between violet and deep amethyst depending on the light. Gently gathered at the shoulder head, the sleeves taper cleanly to the cuff, and the collarless deep V opening gives the jacket a fluid, almost robe-like front that sits beautifully open. Two flat patch pockets land below the self-tie belt, and a horizontal seam across the back gives the hem its clean flare. It's the kind of jacket that was made to be noticed, and fifty years later it still delivers.

Tied at the waist, the self-tie belt lets you position the definition exactly where you want it. The puff shoulder adds width up top, which sits well if you carry more through the hip. Wear it over a simple camisole or fine knit, keeping everything underneath plain so the colour gets the full attention it deserves. Black straight-leg trousers or a slim skirt, and honestly, you're done.

The print on this Chow Mein dress looks almost abstract from a distance, then resolves into hundreds of tiny flowers up close: violet, purple, teal, red and khaki blooms tumbling across a cream ground. The cotton is light and breathable, with just enough body to hold the shape of the blouson bodice without stiffness. Mother-of-pearl buttons run down the centre back, and the oversized batwing sleeves give the whole silhouette a relaxed, easy drape that reads as effortlessly put-together.

The blouson cut sits loose through the body, which means it skims rather than reveals, making it genuinely comfortable across a range of shapes. The dropped waist seam creates a visual break that lengthens the upper body, while the midi skirt adds volume below without adding visual weight. If you carry more through the hip and thigh, the skirt falls away cleanly from the blouson hem. This is an easy to style dress that wants flat sandals in summer and ankle boots in autumn.

Hundreds of tiny blue and teal daisies scattered across a deep raspberry ground, the print on this Osti Fashions dress warrants a closer look. Made in New Zealand when local fashion labels were able to produce genuinely good ready-to-wear, the fabric has a soft texture that gives the print real depth, the flowers shifting between cobalt, periwinkle and sage depending on the light. The bodice is cut with a deep crossover V-neckline, the fabric folding across itself in a clean wrap that needs no fastening. An elasticated waist draws the dress in neatly before the skirt falls in a soft A-line to midi length.

The crossover neckline is a generous silhouette. The elasticated waist accommodates without gripping, and the A-line skirt moves freely below it. Bare arms and a simple flat sandal is all this needs in summer. Come cooler months, a fine knit layered underneath or over top keeps it going well past the season it was made for.

A periwinkle all-over floral lace in a soft, open weave covers the entire length of the gown, from the gently puffed short sleeves to the sweeping skirt below. The construction is where it gets interesting: a fitted lace bodice gives way to a double-layered peplum at the hip, its curved hem trimmed with the same tightly crimped ruffle that edges the square almost sweetheart neckline, centre front placket and sleeve cuffs. That ruffle trim, dense and tactile against the open lace ground, is the detail that makes this dress genuinely special.

The neckline sits wide enough to balance broader shoulders beautifully, while the peplum layers at the hip add volume and softness below the waist without adding bulk. If you carry more evenly through the bust and waist, the sheer lace bodice skims the body lightly, and the gathered long skirt falls away from the hip in loose, fluid panels. This one calls for a silk or satin slip underneath, ivory or white, and very little else. Just the kind of dress you wear to something that matters.

That cobalt stops you. A rich, slightly heathered blue that only comes from quality wool blended with silk, the kind of fabric that holds its shape across decades without losing its softness. The body of this skirt is structured and smooth, weighted beautifully at the hip with a quiet authority. The real story is in the detail: three diagonal silk ribbon trims sweep across the front hip yoke in what looks to be hand-dyed terracotta, amber, teal and rose, each one a small colourful joy and stroke against that deep blue ground. Below the yoke, a cascade of tiered silk ruffle in the same tie-dye palette erupts from the side seam, bold and entirely unexpected against an otherwise tailored silhouette.

The pencil cut is fitted through the waist, hip and thigh, creating a clean line that elongates beautifully. The partially elasticated waist sits at the natural waist without pulling or pinching, making this genuinely comfortable to wear all day. Those diagonal trims draw the eye across the hip rather than straight across it, which distributes visual weight with real cleverness.

A cobalt blue that shifts toward indigo depending on the light, the easy care blend fabric has a fine slubbed texture running through it, giving the surface a subtle visual movement. Then there are those buttons: bold, glossy orange resin against all that blue, with red topstitching running the length of the front placket and tracing the collar points and cuffs.

The shirt cuts a fitted, elongated line through the body, falling to the hip that works tucked into a high-waisted skirt or left loose over slim trousers. The pointed collar frames the face and neck without overwhelming a narrower shoulder line, and those long sleeves with their neat buttoned cuffs keep the look svelte. Tuck the front only, leave the back out, and you've got one of the most effortless silhouettes in the wardrobe.

Layers of colour-saturated georgette catch the light like a prism turned slowly in afternoon sun. Woven in vertical stripes of cobalt, violet, rosy and teal, the sheer fabric shifts and breathes with every movement, its discreet transparency giving the bodice an ethereal, almost watercolour quality. From the waist, the skirt erupts into cascading tiers of softly unfinished ruffles that fall in loose, organic waves to the floor. Long sleeves echo that same floaty ease, finished with covered button detail at the wrist. This is dressmaking rooted in the belief that fabric, when treated with respect, does all the work.

The waist draws gently inward, creating a natural definition at the middle that lets the tiered skirt fall away with full, fluid volume below. That volume builds beautifully on a longer leg line, while the sheer bodice keeps the upper half light and unstructured. If you carry your strength through your shoulders or upper body, the weightless sleeves and open neckline balance that effortlessly. This is a gown for someone who moves through a room and lets the dress do the talking.

Some pieces make you stop mid-scroll and this is absolutely one of them! This extraordinary authentic vintage cropped evening jacket is entirely hand-beaded and sequinned on a silk ground, with clusters of oversized paillettes in pink, white and soft green layered to create three-dimensional floral blooms across the chest and shoulders. Between the flowers, a dense field of smaller iridescent sequins in midnight blue, teal and chartreuse catches and fractures the light in every direction. The neckline, hem and sleeve edges are finished with a couture-level trim of black spiked beads, larger disc sequins and polished black beads, a detail that could have taken a skilled artisan days to complete. The back is equally spectacular, the blooms tumbling across the shoulder blades with the same generosity as the front.

The cropped length sits just at the natural waist, which makes it a brilliant layering piece for a range of proportions. Worn over a sleek column dress or a simple high-neck top and slim skirt, it frames the shoulders and neckline beautifully while leaving the waist and lower body completely clean. This is the piece you wear when you want to walk into a room and not say a single word.

A glorious navy background blouse comes alive with a lush, hand-style embroidered floral bib running from the open V-neckline down the chest, daisy blooms in amber, ice blue and cream tumbling over teal vines and pink buds, with scattered posies drifting across the body, collar and cuffs. The wide 1970s collar is embroidered right to its tips, and the gathered cuffs carry the same floral detail, so this blouse is as beautiful from across a room as it is up close. The fabric drapes and flows softly and keeping its shape beautifully.

The straight cut style means this one works tucked in or worn loose, adapting to whatever the day calls for. The deep V of the embroidered bib draws the eye straight to the face and naturally lengthens the neckline, which is always flattering across the bust and shoulder. Wear it with denim shorts and simple espadrilles or sandals for a relaxed summer look. Layer it under a longline blazer and tailored skirt as the weather cools for a spiffy work look.

What a find. This authentic vintage blouse is at least 50 years young from the well known label 'Lily'. Delightful in a deep navy scattered with hand-style embroidered floral posies in red, pink, yellow and white, framed by the most wonderful red and diamond-pattern woven trim that runs the neckline, front placket, cuffs and hem. It has a distinctly folk-inspired feel, somewhere between a European peasant blouse and a 1970s boho boutique find, with long sleeves, a relaxed open neckline and decorative trim. The fabric is a blend of cotton, polyester and viscose that holds its shape beautifully and has kept the embroidery vivid across decades.

The relaxed, straight cut of this blouse skims the body without defining it too closely, making it genuinely comfortable and easy to wear across a range of proportions. The open neckline keeps things light and draws the eye upward, while the vertical front placket trim naturally lengthens the torso. It tucks neatly into denim or a floaty midi skirt. Or, wear it loose over slim tailored trousers for an effortless weekend look.

A soft knit two piece, made from a Courtelle blend that holds its structure and feels gentle against the skin. The top has a wide, pointed collar that opens into a deep V neckline, with turned back cuffs finishing the elbow length sleeves. An elasticated waist at teh rear gathers the fabric into a soft peplum while the pockets sit neatly at the hip. The matching trousers rise high at the waist and fasten with a single button, releasing into a straight leg that hugs while moves easily. Both pieces share the same grey blue tone, giving the set a clean, cohesive finish.

Worn together or mixed separately through your existing wardrobe, the top's gathered waist adds definition without pulling tight through the middle, while the collar and V neckline open the shoulders and bust. The straight leg balances the fitted waist and hip, elongating the leg line while offering ease of movement. A versatile knit set suited to easy layering.

This sleeveless trapeze dress is cut from a fine, fluid easy care fabric, printed all over in a floral built from heart shaped petals in purple, blue, pink and red. Fine sunray pleating runs the full length of the bodice and skirt, with a folded pleat detail sitting at the centre front neckline and a plain round neckline at the back. The dress closes with a centre back zip, and toward the hem the fabric takes on a lovely semi-sheer quality, letting the print glow through in the light.

The trapeze shape moves freely from the shoulder, so if you love an easy dress with plenty of room to move, this one will suit you well. Let that heart petalled print stand out, add simple bling with a stack of bangles, and step out in wedge sandals or block heels for a look that carries easily from daytime into evening.

This emerald dress carries a fine ribbed knit through the bodice, cut close with princess seams running from shoulder to a defined waist before releasing into a softly pleated skirt that swings as you walk. A stand collar and neat elbow length sleeves keep the shape tidy, and a concealed back zip closes the whole thing cleanly. Lined in taffeta and made from pure new wool, it has the kind of substance mid century dressmakers built for daily wear rather than one season, the sort of piece that has clearly been kept with care for decades.

The fitted bodice sits close through the ribcage before the pleats take over under the waist, so if you carry more through your middle or hips, this silhouette gives you room to move without losing shape. The sleeve length is a comfortable in between for cooler mornings and warmer afternoons. Pair it with block heels and a simple clutch for the office, or flat sandals and statement earrings for a long lunch, with a blazer layered over the top if the day turns cooler.

This tunic length jumper is knitted in a wool blend, patterned in a fair isle style of black and white across the body and sleeves. A standing collar and front placket are trimmed in a green and gold embroidered braid, closing with two ornate gold filigree clasps. The same trim finishes the cuffs and hem, giving the piece a lovely folk inspired finish throughout.

Layer this over a simple skirt or straight leg trousers for an easy, put together look, or let the collar and clasps sit as the focal point with minimal accessories. The tunic length and relaxed knit make this an easy piece to build layers around, worn on its own or under a coat.

Honestly, where has this dress been all your life? Woven in the most ethereal duck-egg blue satin-cotton brocade, with an all-over pattern of abstract medallions pressed into the weave itself, this gown has the kind of quiet, silvery luminosity that makes a room turn its head without you having to do a single thing. The construction is pure mid-century British magic: a sleeveless column cut with clean, uncluttered confidence, finished with hand-applied crystal and paste rhinestone trim running the full length of the wide scoop neckline, along the straps, and across the raised empire waist. A scatter of deeper sapphire-toned stones cascades from the centre front like a tiny, very glamorous constellation.

The raised empire line sitting just below the bust, elongates the torso beautifully and lets the fabric fall in one long, uninterrupted column to the midi hem, skimming rather than clinging. This silhouette is genuinely flattering across a wide range of proportions: it lifts the eye upward toward the collarbone and shoulders, and floats past the waist and hip. Style it with a sleek low chignon, bare skin, silver heels, and the quiet confidence of someone who knows exactly what they walked in wearing.

A beautifully romantic authentic vintage dress in a soft powder blue floral print, scattered with delicate pink roses and framed by cascading ruffle detailing across the neckline and shoulders. The lightweight cotton blend fabric carries an airy softness, moving gently through the tiered midi skirt with an effortless drape. Its gathered neckline and flutter sleeves evoke the femininity of occasion dressing, while the fitted waistline creates elegant structure through the body. The floral print feels timeless and quietly nostalgic, balancing sweetness with graceful sophistication.

The silhouette softly defines the waist while allowing ease through the hips and skirt, making it especially lovely for those wanting balanced proportion and fluid movement. The ruffled neckline draws attention upward and beautifully frames the shoulders and collarbone. Style with woven sandals and straw hat for warm weather gatherings, or pair with tall boots and a denim jacket through cooler seasons. The soft blue palette layers beautifully with creams, faded denim, or dusky pink accessories.

A beautifully preserved Australian authentic vintage dress in a muted powder blue wool blend, tailored with remarkable precision and softness. The sculptural crossover scarf collar, trimmed in cream piping lays atop a beautifully tailored top. The neckline is secured with a statement button fastening, creating an elegant architectural frame through the neckline and shoulders. Fine pleating through the skirt gives the silhouette graceful movement, while the matching belt softly defines the waist. The wool has a refined finish typical of mid-century tailoring, balancing practicality with quiet glamour. A rare example of boutique Australian dressmaking from Susan Silvers Peters, complete with original labels and thoughtful construction throughout.

The silhouette offers elegant structure through the shoulders and waist while allowing fluid movement through the skirt and hips. The broad (removable) scarf collar naturally balances the upper frame and draws attention upward, making it particularly flattering for those who enjoy soft tailoring around the bust and neckline. Style with boots and a long wool coat through winter, or wear with delicate heels and delicate jewellery for evening occasions. The midi length and pleated skirt create beautiful motion while maintaining a polished line through the middle.
