There is something wonderfully fearless about a silver shoe, and this New Zealand-made pair has enough vintage character to make even the simplest outfit feel far more interesting. The metallic leather has a silver finish, with a broad squared toe and that fabulous oversized rectangular feature across the vamp giving them a strong graphic look.
The low block heel keeps them grounded and very wearable, while the clean slip-on shape makes them surprisingly easy to bring into a modern wardrobe.

ABOUT SLICCA LAMPLIGHTERS This pair of shoes still retains its original Slicca Lamplighters branding together with the wording “Hand Lasted Custom Made in N.Z.” inside the shoe. This type of surviving detail gives us a lovely piece of New Zealand footwear provenance and points to the more hands-on construction methods once used in local shoe manufacture. Vintage Lamplighters footwear is not a label that is commonly seen making this an unusual, collectable example of surviving New Zealand-made footwear.
