A pair of soaring cranes stretch their wings across a rich magenta ground, rendered in bold silhouette against a pale ivory panel etched with fine wave detailing. The design draws on traditional Japanese motifs, cranes long symbolic of grace, longevity and good fortune, reimagined here in a striking two tone palette. Lightweight and fluid, with a lovely soft sheen.
