Gunmetal metal mesh gives these hoop drop earrings a lovely textural bite, with faceted, scale-like pieces worked around open circular forms. 

The finish shifts between pewter, charcoal and aged silver-tone, so the colour changes a little every time you turn your head. A round stud sits neatly at the ear, and the double hoops suspended beneath it swing freely with every movement. Pure late 70s into 80s cocktail jewellery, and beautifully at home in a modern wardrobe.

Wear them with a berry lip, a sleek knit and hair tucked back, or pair them with a soft blouse in orchid, teal or cream. With a plain slip dress and a cropped jacket they look rather excellent for an evening out.
