Deep aubergine silk carries a dense batik style floral in soft white and rose pink, leaves and blooms tangled together in the traditional wax resist manner. A diamond motif border frames the design before giving way to a fine striped panel and a generous knotted fringe. The layered patterning has real depth and hand crafted character, with a lovely tactile softness to the silk itself.

Drape it long over the shoulders for a bohemian layer against a plain dress, or knot at the hip as an unexpected sarong style belt over wide leg trousers. The aubergine and rose palette brings warmth to white, cream or soft grey, and the fringed edge adds movement whether worn loose or wrapped twice as a cowl.
