This one has a detail that sets it apart from every other denim skirt you have ever owned. Two large patch pockets sit at the front hip, each finished with a bold red cross-stitch X that turns a simple utilitarian feature into something with real character.

The skirt is mid blue cotton chambray, cut from a fitted waist into a clean A-line that falls to midi length with easy, unhurried movement. The fabric has a smooth, slightly worn quality that makes it feel like a piece you have had forever. Back zip closure, clean waistband. Wear it with a fitted white or ivory blouse tucked in and tan leather loafers for something polished. A cherry red knit tucked in picks up the pocket stitching beautifully.
