This New Zealand-made Finesse evening bag is all silver shimmer and lovely frame-bag structure. The soft lurex body has that fine metallic surface that shifts between silver and pewter as it moves, with a decorative silver-tone metal frame, neat kiss-lock clasp and fine chain handle. Inside, the mauve-toned lining has a small internal pocket and the surviving Finesse label reads Made in New Zealand. This exclusive range of earrings originates from Apricot Gift Boutique. A store established circa 1984 in the heart of beachside suburb Mairangi Bay, New Zealand. The store was owned and operated by Colombian artist, Helizabeth Borrero de King offering a snapshot of her love of fashion, style, and all that glitters. A gift and jewelry store with a little taste of everything that catered to a diverse group of locals, fashionistas, and supported artisans. The store was known for embracing community and culture as well as bringing a unique overseas perspective to the area.

Brought to you in this collection, are some of the surviving pieces from the store's closure in the early 1990's. As with all of our curation, each piece is unique and brings joy to the wearer. Each earring is a one-of-a-kind treasure, perfect for the discerning wearer who appreciates the art of style and the allure of the past.

Vintage Japanese Haori
This is the most common style of kimono jacket. With kimono style sleeves made to fit over the kimono sleeve it covers, a collar piece that extends from hem to hem, an open front with a haori himo tie (obi are not used), and typically made from fabric that would also be suitable for a kimono. There are many categories of haori, defined by fabric, occasion, design and length. The natsu haori, is made in a semi-sheer synthetic or open weave silk to be worn in the summertime. Many haori have a surprise inside the lining that might be colourful unique or decorative than the outer fabric of the jacket. Most haori are reversible, with all the stitching hidden, so if you prefer the lining side, display or wear it inside out!
