We love using the humble scarf to enhance your features and any outfit!
This is not a humble moment, however. This is Pierre Cardin at his playful, modernist best.
Rendered in a vibrant emerald green and scattered with bold abstract dots in crimson red, sunshine yellow, tangerine and violet, this large square scarf feels like wearable art. The scale is generous, the colour confident, and the composition unmistakably designer. It holds presence without overwhelm, which is exactly what the best vintage accessories do.
This piece is beautifully fluid, lightweight and soft to the touch, with the kind of drape that allows you to experiment. Wear your vintage scarf in your hair, on your head, as a mask, around your neck, around your wrist, your waist or handbag.
Fold it into a triangle and tie it at the nape of the neck with a tailored blazer. Let it soften a crisp shirt collar. Wrap it over your shoulders with evening black, cobalt, saffron or pair with our rich maximalist earrings for a statement 'up top'. It is colour theory made effortless.
So many designs and colours to collect in a gorgeous bundle of vintage fabric goodness, you choose to Be your own Bird wearing Painted Bird accessories.
Don’t forget, there is only one of each of our products, so make this piece yours TODAY!

DESIGNER INFORMATION: Pierre Cardin was one of the great disruptors of twentieth century fashion. A French-Italian visionary, he was known for futuristic silhouettes, geometric forms and a belief that fashion should be democratic yet daring. His work defined space age glamour in the 1960s and 1970s, and even his accessories carry that same architectural clarity and bold optimism.
