Gunmetal metal mesh gives these hoop drop earrings a lovely textural bite, with faceted, scale-like pieces worked around open circular forms.

The finish shifts between pewter, charcoal and aged silver-tone, so the colour changes a little every time you turn your head. A round stud sits neatly at the ear, and the double hoops suspended beneath it swing freely with every movement. Pure late 70s into 80s cocktail jewellery, and beautifully at home in a modern wardrobe.

Wear them with a berry lip, a sleek knit and hair tucked back, or pair them with a soft blouse in orchid, teal or cream. With a plain slip dress and a cropped jacket they look rather excellent for an evening out.

ABOUT APRICOT GIFT BOUTIQUE This exclusive range of earrings originates from Apricot Gift Boutique, a store established circa 1984 in the heart of the beachside suburb of Mairangi Bay, New Zealand. The store was owned and operated by Colombian artist Helizabeth Borrero de King, offering a snapshot of her love of fashion, style, and all that glitters. A gift and jewellery store with a little taste of everything, it catered to a diverse group of locals, fashionistas, and supported artisans. The store was known for embracing community and culture, as well as bringing a unique overseas perspective to the area. Brought to you in this collection are some of the surviving pieces from the store's closure in the early 1990s. Each piece is unique and brings joy to the wearer.

NOTE: Sale/Sold Items/Damaged Items cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned. Colours may display differently on various devices.

Faceted crystal beads run the full length of each drop, graduating from a small bead at the ear to a generous round at the tip, with an iridescent finish that shifts through gold, amber and the faintest rose as you move. Slim spacers sit between the beads holding the spacing even, and a link about a third of the way down lets the lower section swing on its own. Long bead drops like these ran right through the 70s and came back around for 90s party dressing, which is roughly the span this pair sits across.

Wear them with a silk blouse for textural contrast and pewter tones through the rest of your look. Or, bring out the sparkle wearing these with a little colour. Hair up or swept behind one ear gives the drop room to move.

This faux crystal necklace has softly iridescent beads, warmer honey-toned touches and darker decorative spacers giving it texture all the way around. At the centre sits a small floral feature with a sparkling stone and antiqued metal-toned detail, which gives the whole piece a pretty, slightly old-world finish.

It is a short necklace designed to sit neatly at the neckline. The mix of rounded, faceted and textured elements keeps the eye moving, while the central floral detail gives it a clear focal point. The fastening is finished with a lobster clasp and extension chain, making it easy to adjust slightly for comfort.

It has enough shimmer to work for evening, but it would also bring a bit of light to an everyday collar or simple neckline.

Cluster earrings from the mid-century era are particularly charming especially when they are displaying faceted faux crystal beads wired together in a domed cluster, each bead catching light from a slightly different angle and throwing back a soft iridescent flash of pink, blue and green. The effect is more opal than crystal, more quiet shimmer than full glitter.

Lovely with a simple outfit to bring a little light to your day.

Filigree jewellery is a craft with a very long history, and pieces like this are a reminder of why it has never entirely disappeared. Nine open-work flower motifs, each built from fine twisted wire in a layered dimensional form, are linked by slim bar connectors along a fine rope chain. The flowers themselves have real depth. The petals open outward in a scalloped ring around a raised centre cluster, the whole thing more three-dimensional than the photos quite capture. The metal has aged to a dark oxidised silver tone that gives the set a quiet, antique quality. Matching drop earrings complete the pair.

A set like this goes well with a simple neckline. Complimentary with a V, a scoop, and a collarless blouse where the necklace can lie delicately at the collar bones.

A little shamrock with just enough sparkle, this brooch is traced almost entirely in iridescent diamanté, with three looping leaves, a slender stem and a larger stone at the centre. The stones shift through smoky gold, soft pink, green and flashes of blue as the light moves across them, which gives the piece far more colour than you might expect at first glance.

The open wirework construction keeps the brooch light physically and visually despite the generous number of stones. It is a lovely size for a hat, jacket lapel, cardigan, scarf or coat collar.

A beautifully simple Lalique heart, this Amoureuse Beaucoup pendant is formed in smoky grey glass with a softly rounded, sculptural surface and a deep heart silhouette. The grey has enough translucency to show the depth of the glass without losing that wonderfully moody charcoal tone, while the polished gold-tone bail gives it a neat flash of contrast.

It hangs from its original-style black twisted silk cord, giving the pendant plenty of length and allowing the glass heart to sit as the focal point. There is something particularly good about jewellery that does not need fussing with, and this works just as well against a crisp white shirt as it does over a fine knit, a silk blouse or the neckline of a favourite dress.

Try it against emerald, raspberry or cobalt for a stronger colour combination, or keep things pared back with dove grey, cream or chocolate. The black cord also makes it an easy piece to layer with a shorter gold chain without everything becoming too busy.

DESIGNER INFORMATION: Founded by René Lalique, Lalique has a celebrated history in both jewellery and glassmaking dating back to the late 19th century. René Lalique became known for bringing materials such as glass into fine jewellery design, and the house continues that tradition today. The Amoureuse collection centres on the heart motif, with the Amoureuse Beaucoup pendant forming part of this distinctive Lalique jewellery line.

A domed faux pearl sits at the centre of this round silver tone brooch, ringed by six smaller pearls set out in a star pattern. Open filigree work fills the space between, finished with a fine beaded rope trim around the outer edge. The metal has the soft, aged patina typical of mid-century costume pieces, with hints of warmer gold tone through the filigree detail. A long pin fastens at the back, with a simple hook catch.

Pin it to a lapel, collar or the brim of a hat for a compact dose of vintage sparkle. It also sits well fastened to a scarf or the strap of a plain bag. A single statement brooch like this is easily worn alone, without extra jewellery nearby.

Two softly faceted quartz stones fall from a small stud top, each one cloudy grey with natural dark inclusions that make every surface a little different. The stones are framed in warm gold plated brass, with the Turkish designer’s characteristic raw-edged bezel setting keeping the finish organic rather than overly polished.

There is lovely movement through the double drop, but the scale stays refined enough for everyday wear. Pair them with a soft ivory blouse and dark denim, or pick up the warmer metal with cinnamon, olive or deep chocolate. For evening, they would look beautiful against black silk, smoky grey or a strong berry tone.

Three stones in graduating tones drop from a delicate gold plated hook, each one a different character within the same design story. A pale, banded stone sits at the top, giving way to a deep, inky blue, then finishing in a rich plum toned stone at the base. Set by a Turkish designer in raw, organic bezels rather than perfectly matched cuts, no two pairs from this maker are ever quite identical, which is very much the point.

Wear them with a simple linen shirt and bare shoulders for daytime ease, or let them catch candlelight against an off the shoulder top for evening. If you love jewellery with a little movement and a lot of personality, these will earn their place in daily rotation.

There is a particular kind of sparkle that only comes from an era when costume jewellery was made to genuinely dazzle, and this pair delivers it in full. Each earring gathers a cluster of baguette cut and round diamante stones into a flower like starburst, the facets catching light from every angle. Set in a fine steel mount with considered stone placement that tells you this is a strong statement in style.

Clip on and instantly transformative, these earrings are made for the moments when you want your face to do the talking. Wear them with a simple polo neck and tailored trousers for an evening that needs no other embellishment, or let them sit against bare shoulders with a slip dress for something a little more directional. If you love jewellery that catches the light rather than whispers, this is a lovely place to start.

This brooch is a classic mid-century spray design, its silver-tone setting curling into loose ribbon loops and sweeping fronds that fan outward from a central floral cluster. Round diamante stones in graduating sizes are set the full length of each curling arm, catching light from every angle, with a small cluster of pave-set stones forming the flower at its heart. The scale is generous without being heavy, and it fastens to the reverse with a simple pin.

A brooch this animated does well pinned somewhere it can move a little, such as the lapel of a tailored coat or the collar of a plain blouse. It also sits beautifully gathered into the folds of a silk scarf at the neck, or fastened to a simple knit where it becomes the sole point of interest. Worn this way, it carries easily from daytime into evening without needing to be swapped out.

A fabulous piece of jewellery theatre in charcoal, pewter and silver, these clip-ons are built up in overlapping leaves and petals around a large clear faceted diamanté drop. Look closely and there is plenty going on: scalloped shapes at the top, long textured leaves sweeping outward, flashes of silvery finish and that oversized clear stone sitting low in the design.

They have the scale of a small brooch worn at the ear, which is exactly why they work so beautifully with simple clothes. Try them with a black knit and tailored trousers, a crisp white shirt, or against one strong block colour such as cobalt, orchid or deep green. They would also be brilliant with a sleek evening dress when you want jewellery with vintage personality.

Two strands of faceted aurora borealis crystal make their way around the collarbone here, each bead catching light and throwing it back in unexpected flashes of pink, gold and green. The graduated sizing gives the strands real movement, from smaller stones near the clasp to the bold, chunky facets that sit centre front. Warm gold tone spacer beads run between each crystal, and the leaf shaped clasp fittings add a soft decorative finish to the whole piece. Nothing here has a label to trace, but the construction and crystal cut place it comfortably in the mid century decades, and it has held its sparkle beautifully.

This is the kind of necklace that turns a plain top into an occasion. Sit it high on a boat neck or a simple round collar and let the two strands do the talking, or layer it over a fine knit for daytime glamour that still feels easy. If you love colour that shifts as you move, this is a lovely way to wear it close to the face where the light catches best.

A little burst of vintage glamour, these clip-ons are made up of clustered pearlised resin beads arranged in a full rounded flower shape. A larger centre bead anchors the design, with smaller textured beads packed closely around it to create plenty of dimension without needing any extra sparkle. The soft silver-white finish catches the light beautifully and gives them a slightly frosted, almost moonlit look.

They are brilliant with a crisp black shirt, a cobalt knit or a rich plum dress, and just as good worn with denim and a simple white tee when you want one strong vintage detail near your face. The compact floral shape keeps them wearable while still giving you that wonderful bit of style.

A tightly woven knot of glossy dark violet beads with deep black shadowing, finished with a sweep of clear faceted beads and a creamy seed-pearl tone centre bead like a tiny signet. Textural, sculptural, and quietly clever, they have that dressed-up finish that makes a simple black knit feel finished.

Wear them with a sharp collar for contrast, or lean into the mood with a bold purple blazer, dark denim, or a rich velvet. They sit close to the ear and catch light in small, flattering flashes, which is exactly what you want near the face.

Choosing authentic vintage accessories keeps beautiful workmanship in circulation and sidesteps the churn of disposable new production. The easiest kind of wardrobe upgrade is the one that already exists.

A mottled amethyst coloured leaf sits at the top of each of these, carved with a soft vein pattern that catches the light differently depending on how you turn. Below that hangs a little procession of beads, two ornate silver-tone florals, a faceted faux amethyst glass drop, then the sequence repeating down to a final rounded bead at the base. There is real movement in the drop, the kind that catches on a scarf or a collar and makes itself known the moment you turn your head. A striking style for anyone who likes their jewellery to be that final piece de resistance for their outfit.

This pair is special with a curved cascade of colour designed with a genuine right and left, so it follows the natural line of your ear rather than sitting square. Teardrops of deep amethyst tumble alongside jet black marquise stones, punctuated by a single ruby red point and a scatter of clear diamanté that catches every bit of available light. Two faux pearls sit nestled within the design, adding a soft, lustrous contrast to all that rich colour and sparkle. There is a real sense of movement in the asymmetric, almost floral arrangement, more like a miniature brooch than a standard stud, and the attention to a mirrored pair speaks to quality design rather than a mass produced afterthought.

Three ribbed gold-tone fans curl outward from a central pearl in this pretty little trefoil shape, each fan tipped with a small round amethyst stone that peeks out at the join. The fluted texture on the gold catches light beautifully as it curves, giving real shape and dimension to what could otherwise be a flat little motif. That single lustrous pearl sitting centre stage adds a soft, classic touch against all that warm gold and violet sparkle, striking a nice balance between polished and pretty. A versatile everyday earring that would sit just as well with a linen shirt as it would with your going-out dress.

A fluted gold-tone shell forms the base of this pair, its ribbed panels opening into neat little cutouts that let the light move right through the piece rather than sitting flat against the ear. Nestled at the centre is a small cluster of diamanté in two shades of purple, a deeper amethyst coloured oval anchoring three lighter round stones above it, like a tiny bunch of violets caught mid bloom. There is real dimension here between the sculptural gold shell shape and the soft sparkle at its heart, a pair that manages to feel both structured and pretty at once.

The perfect gift for your BFF... this pair is all about movement, four curved enamel panels twisting into a love knot form, glossy violet against exposed brass channels that let a little light through the open centre. The swirled shape gives a lovely sense of motion even standing still, like a small pinwheel caught mid turn, while the polished enamel finish keeps everything looking crisp and well made rather than dated. Neat and true to a stud silhouette, they are an easy grab for anyone who wants a bit of shape and colour without any drop or dangle.

Sometimes the simplest formula is the best one, and this pair proves it, a generous oval cabochon in a bold true purple, held within a neat silver-tone rope edge border. No extra embellishment, no competing detail, just clean colour and a well proportioned shape. The rope textured frame adds just enough interest to lift it above a plain button earring, while keeping the whole thing genuinely easy to wear day to day. A lovely reliable option for anyone building a collection of go-to colour studs.

A high domed centre in a shifting iridescent purple is the real drawcard here, glossy and rounded enough that it catches a different colour glint depending on which way you turn your head, from deep violet through to a warmer amber edge. It sits inside a neat gold-tone laurel wreath border, the leaf detailing giving it a slightly classical, almost coin-like finish that grounds all that shimmer in something more structured. Simple in shape but rich in colour, these are an easy everyday earring with just enough shine to feel a little special.

A real coin-like quality to these with a raised domed centre in aged gold sitting inside a deep purple field, with a fine engraved pattern running round the inner ring that hints at something almost heraldic. A neat border of beaded gold detailing frames the whole piece, giving it structure and a slightly formal, decorative edge that feels borrowed from an old cabinet fitting or button box rather than a jewellery counter. Solid and well proportioned without being heavy on the ear, this is a pair for anyone who likes a bit of history and craftsmanship in their accessories.

There is a real weight and quality to these that you feel the moment you pick them up, a substantial domed brass form finished in glossy lilac enamel and warm textured gold, the two colours swirling into each other like a yin and yang rather than sitting in neat separate blocks. The gold sections carry a fine engraved pattern underneath their shine, giving the surface real depth up close, while the lilac panels stay smooth and high gloss for contrast. Rounded and comfortable against the ear, this is a pair built for everyday elegance, the kind of quietly luxe piece that looks equally at home with a blazer or a simple knit.

Sometimes the simplest pieces earn their place in the collection through colour alone, and this pair is a good example. A neat glossy dome in a clear, true lavender, no pattern, no extra detail, just a clean round shape with a lovely high shine finish. Small in scale and light to wear, they are the sort of earring you reach for on a day when your outfit already has plenty going on and your ears just need a simple pop of colour to finish it off.

Hand illustrated is the word that comes to mind with this pair, a floral print in dusty pink, sage green, lilac and butter yellow, all outlined in a fine dark line that gives the pattern a real graphic, almost fabric-like quality. Set into a simple flat disc, there is nothing fussy about the shape itself, which means the print gets to do all the talking. It is the kind of pattern you would happily find on a silk scarf from the same decade, now living its second life as a proper statement disc for the ear. Easy to wear and full of personality, a lovely option for anyone drawn to colour and pattern over polish and shine.

Satisfyingly simple, these are a proper matte gold poppy, five generous petals with soft, folded edges that catch the light without ever tipping into glare. A single round purple faux stone sits nestled at the centre like a drop of colour caught in the middle of the bloom, small in scale but doing all the work against that warm brushed gold finish. There is a real confidence to the plain silhouette here, no extra embellishment needed, just clean botanical form and one perfect point of colour. Easy to dress up or down, this is the sort of earring that goes from desk to dinner without a second thought.

Vitrail is one of those finishes that photographs differently every time you tilt it, and this pair puts that shimmer to full use. Four irregular faceted petals in shifting tones of violet, gold and green fan out around a central marquise stone, all cradled by a fleur de lis shaped frame of antiqued brass, complete with textured leaf details top and bottom. The combination of old world metalwork and rainbow-cut faceting gives these a slightly gothic, romantic edge, not quite like anything else in the cabinet. A genuinely striking pair for someone who wants their jewellery to do a bit of talking.

An oval amethyst coloured cabochon takes centre stage here, deep and glassy, held fast within a textured gold-tone faux metal rope frame that gives the whole earring a sense of old-world craftsmanship. Below, three loose gold loops curl like a signature flourish, each set with a small round crystal in emerald, ruby and amethyst, a mismatched jewel box in miniature. The effect is layered and confident, closer to a piece of estate jewellery than costume, and versatile enough to move from a work day into whatever the evening throws at you.

There is Art Deco style drama here without a single hard edge. A fluted gold-tone sunburst sits at the top, its rays fanning out around a soft velvet-covered centre in deep plum, before the eye is led down through a small round bead to a fully covered teardrop, capped in ornate gold filigree and finished in the same rich, matte velvet. The felt-like texture is the real point of difference, catching light in a completely different way, more shadow than sparkle. Long enough to move with you, substantial enough to be noticed, this is a pair built for an evening when you want colour and movement without any glare.

This pair of earrings looks like it has been lifted straight off an old cabinet handle or a Victorian mirror frame. A round medallion face carries an ornate scrollwork border in antiqued gold, framing a darker oval centre stamped with fine filigree detail and a single purple-toned accent at its heart. Lightweight and comfortable to wear despite the busy, decorative surface, they lean into an eclectic, almost curio-shop appeal, ideal for anyone who collects pieces with a bit of story stamped right into accessories.

Six amethyst coloured petals fan out in a full, generous bloom, each one hand-set in a twisted gold-tone rope border that gives the whole flower a raised, dimensional edge. At the centre sits a single round ruby red diamante, small but mighty, the exact pop of colour that stops the eye before it moves out to the petals. The scale is confident without tipping into costume, a statement floral that was made for an evening at the theatre or a long lunch that turns into cocktails.

There is something almost geological about these domed clip-ons, layers of lilac and antique gold sitting across the surface like weathered stone or old plaster catching afternoon light. Raised beaded rows run in loose, wandering lines across each dome, giving the an almost hand-worked, textural quality that feels more sculpture than jewellery. They sit close to the ear with real presence, the kind of piece that reads as art first and adornment second, perfect for anyone drawn to colour and craftsmanship over polish and shine.

Quietly opulent, these compact clip-on clusters bring together four faceted crystals in a garden-toned palette of peridot green, citrine yellow, blush pink and soft amethyst, anchored below by a ribbed sapphire-blue drop. Set in polished silver-tone metal, the mixed cuts, round rivoli, pear and marquise, create a faceted, jewel-box sparkle that catches the light from every angle. Small in scale but rich in colour, they carry the playful, maximalist charm of 1980s European costume jewellery, the kind of pair that turns a plain blouse into an occasion.

A diamond-form starburst of oxidised silver, this brooch radiates outward in scrolled, openwork petals densely pavéd with glittering marcasite. At its heart, an oval-cut amethyst glows in deep violet, framed by four round amethyst cabochons at each compass point. The contrast of gunmetal-dark silver against jewel-bright purple is striking without excess. Small but architecturally complex.

Pin it to a charcoal wool lapel or the neckline of a cream silk blouse for immediate impact. It lifts navy, forest green, and dusty mauve with equal authority. Try it centred on a black turtleneck, or anchoring a silk scarf draped at the collar. The silver-and-violet palette pairs beautifully with small floral prints or geometric jacquard.

A generous dome of creamy faux pearl sits at the centre of each earring, surrounded by a constellation of smaller ivory beads and marbled aubergine cabochons, all anchored to a warm brass base. The cluster arrangement has a sculpted, almost floral density to it, with each bead catching light differently.

Pair with a deep plum silk blouse or a navy floral print for an effortlessly tonal look. The ivory and aubergine palette lifts a camel coat beautifully, and sits just as well against black and white houndstooth. Layer with a single-strand pearl necklace to lean into the era, or wear alone against a crisp white collar for maximum contrast.

Densely clustered and joyfully tactile, these clip-on earrings arrange rows of matte violet plastic beads and polished gold-tone brass spheres into a satisfying, almost mosaic-like surface. The contrast between the soft, chalky purple and the mirror-bright gold creates a visual rhythm that catches the eye. Generously scaled yet surprisingly lightweight.

Wear these against a deep forest green or burnt sienna knit to make the violet sing. They lift a cream silk blouse instantly, or add unexpected personality to a floral wrap dress. Try them with camel or chocolate tones for a warm, editorial contrast, or pair with cobalt for a bold, colour-blocked statement.

ABOUT APRICOT GIFT BOUTIQUE - This exclusive range of earrings originates from Apricot Gift Boutique, a store established circa 1984 in the heart of the beachside suburb of Mairangi Bay, New Zealand.

A softly irregular disc of hammered brass, warm with age and beautifully textured, cradles a lustrous amethyst-toned plastic cabochon at its centre. The surface catches light unevenly in the most compelling way, every mark a quiet record of time. Generously sized without being excessive, these are statement earrings with genuine sculptural presence.

Wear them against a crisp white linen shirt or a fluid blouse in deep plum or floral feast of colour. They will anchor a print beautifully, pulling out warmth in ochre and burgundy tones. Layer with a fine gold chain for quiet maximalism, or let them stand alone against bare skin for evening.

Each earring is a tiny garden suspended in enamel. Deep aubergine cloisonné beads are mapped with hand-laid metal filament, enclosing blooms in blush, coral and white against a field of olive and emerald leaves. A faceted amethyst crystal sits above a sparkling rhinestone rondelle, before the bead drops on a clean stainless steel hook. The effect is jewel-box rich, intricate without fuss, and utterly hand-crafted in character.

Wear these where a touch of colour creates a perfect look. They come alive against a floral silk, an inky navy, or a rich forest-green. The aubergine and gold tones are equally at home paired with deep burgundy or warmed against camel and ochre.

Exquisite in their restraint, these authentic vintage cloisonné drop earrings are miniature works of enamel artistry. Three graduated petals, rendered in deep violet, warm fuchsia, and cobalt blue, unfurl beneath a delicate open-work gold-tone connector, each petal traced with fine gold filament detailing that catches light with quiet drama. The reverse reveals a cross-hatched gold-tone metal backing stamped with the Fish and Crown maker's mark, a small but significant signature of mid-century craft provenance. The clip backs are neat and secure.

These jewel-toned drops sing against ivory silk, cream linen, or a botanical print in sage and dusty rose. Try them against a rich cobalt blue or forest green knit for tonal depth, or let them punctuate an all-black ensemble with an unexpected flash of violet and gold. They move beautifully, catching light with every turn of the head.

Each earring presents a sculptural cluster of lustrous faux pearls in deep berry, soft blush, midnight navy, and warm lilac, orbiting a polished gold-tone faux pearl bauble centre. Tiny metallic-toned beads thread between each pearl like a delicate lacework, holding the composition with quiet precision. Compact yet visually abundant, these sit beautifully against the ear. The brass clip backs carry a gentle patina entirely in keeping with their heirloom character.

Wear these against a deeply coloured silk blouse in forest green or plum to let the berry tones sing. They lift navy effortlessly, or try them alongside floral prints where every hue in the cluster already belongs. For evening, pair with a simple black knit and let these do all the speaking. Utterly versatile, wholly characterful.

A tiny parade of colour and charm, this authentic vintage hippopotamus brooch feels delightfully theatrical. Textured brass gives the piece a warm golden glow, scattered with jewel-toned faux gemstones in ruby red, sapphire blue and emerald green. Whimsical yet refined, it carries the playful glamour of costume jewellery’s golden era with a beautifully sculptural silhouette.

Pin it onto a sharp black blazer for a flash of eccentric polish, or let it brighten soft florals and gingham for a more storybook feel. Equally striking fastened to a turban or wool beret, Elizabeth Taylor style. A collectable conversation piece with just the right amount of sparkle.
